What We Learn:
- True blessing comes from avoiding ungodly influences.
- Our associations shape our actions—who we walk with, stand with, or sit with affects our spiritual life.
- Progression of sin—it starts with listening, then standing, and finally settling into sinful patterns.
- God calls us to be different, to seek wisdom from His Word rather than from the world.
Reflection
Who are we walking with, standing with, or sitting among? This verse challenges us to evaluate our influences. Are we being led by God’s truth, or are we allowing negative influences to shape our choices? The truly blessed life comes from seeking God’s wisdom and walking in righteousness. Let’s be intentional about surrounding ourselves with people and influences that draw us closer to God.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that guides us in the path of righteousness. Help me to walk in Your ways and not be influenced by ungodly counsel. Give me wisdom to choose my company wisely and strength to stand firm in my faith. Let my life be a reflection of Your truth, drawing others closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
