Delight in the Lord

Bible verse of the day - Psalm 37:4

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

This verse is not a formula for receiving everything we want but a call to pursue a relationship with God that fulfills our deepest needs and redefines our desires.

Take time today to reflect on what brings you joy. Are you delighting in temporary things or the eternal goodness of God? When you align your heart with His, you will find that your desires begin to reflect His perfect will.
